When adding an item or updating quantity in the Oracle iStore shopping cart, the customer can enter a decimal quantity if the item is divisible. Oracle iStore calls the same API used by Oracle Order Management for validating quantity. If an item is marked OM Indivisible, decimal quantities are not allowed for its primary unit of measure (UOM).
To prevent the customer from selecting a decimal quantity of an item, log into Oracle Forms with Inventory responsibility for the master inventory organization, and mark the OM Indivisible flag. See the Oracle Inventory User's Guide for more information.
Please let me know if this does not resolve your issue.
Can you tell me the steps ,which responsibility is needed.
I went to Inventory->Master Item->
Can you tell me the flow, how to mark OM indivisible.
You can query the Item in the Item Master in Inventory responsibility.
Navigate to the Physical Attributes tabbed region in the Master Items window to set up the item attribute, OM Indivisible.
Do we need to assign to each product number.
When i am assigning for a prduct number, it is throwing an error saying the combination of segment value already exists.
Can we assign to all product numbers at once.
Do we have any solution to mark OM indivisible for all the product numbers, instead of assigning to each product number.
When i was putting a check to OM Indivisible factor ,it is asking me to enter the field. So i entered Item number.
It is saying, The combination of a segment value already exists.
can u plz send the screenshot of ur error message with steps to email@example.com
i will check on the api u r requesting
I was able to assign the OM Undivisible .
Intially i did not query. Now i am able to see the error Cannot be entered in decimal quantity.Thank you for your help.
But do we need to query all item numbers and assign this factor.
Don't we have a solution for applying for all the item numbers.
You might need to update INDIVISIBLE_FLAG in the table mtl_system_items_b.1 person found this helpful
Please test for for one or two items by updating from the back end and see if no issue happens then update it at once.
Thank you Pradeep.
