        Hi,

This method do not work with interactive report.
It should work with tabular form, but I have not test.

For interactive report see this plugin
        http://www.apex-plugin.com/oracle-apex-plugins/dynamic-action-plugin/ir-plugin-package_108.html

          Thanks Jari,

I think the link above has a fee? The previous sample you did on emp table and accompanied by the sample apps sql code is fine already.
But I do not see step by step instructions on how to convert an existing classical report to a freeze pane horizontal and vertical freeze pane report.

Can you please prove the step by step instructions?

          Thanks,

I'm not quite understand what extra instructions you need.
I have provide sample application for example. Can't you check that?

                Hi,

                Application is for APEX 4.1.
You can install that to apex.oracle.com and see source code.

                  Thanks jari,

I remember I was able to import it to my Apex 4.0 server :( was it updated to 4.1?

                  Is there a backward compatibility?

Wait ....i will try to migrate it to apex.oracle.com if it will work.

                    Hi,

                    There is no backward compatibility.

I did make some changes to sample using APEX 4.1.1.
Then I did overwrite old APEX 4.0 export file in our repository with APEX 4.1.1 :(
I did not think APEX 4.0 version is needed anymore. Now I do not have that version anymore.

                    Silly mistake from me, sorry.

                    Regards,
                    Jari

No worries, I have the 4.0 version in my Apex server. Can I back it up and upload to your blog.?

                          Hi Sure,

                          Will send it.

                          I have a question.

I have an existing Apex apps called Inventory Apps with 5 tabs.
Then I have loaded your Scroll apps with 2 tabs.
I want to copy the 1st tab (page1) of Scroll apps to my Inventory Apps and put it on the 6th tab (page6).
I tried to do this copy but the scroll was messed up or it is not working now. How do I retain the property of the page while migrating it to another apps?
i suspect the page was still called page1 when it was now on page6. How do I update the referencing new page name?

                          Thanks :)

                            Hi,

I assume you have not copy/create report template to your app.
Check from sample app what report template page 1 report use and then create same template to your app.

                            Regards,
                            Jari

I can not understand was does template mean :(

It ask me of the following when I copy or migrated the page to anothe apps. I dont know what to map or choose.
When you copy a page from another Application, all the templates used by that page need to be mapped to templates in the current Application.
This report displays the templates in the page you are copying from. Review the report and map to the correct template.

Do you mean I only copy the templates and not the page itself?

This means the templates also includes the pages?
