We have an external jar file we like to include/add in our Model project and deploy our app to our standalone WebLogic Server.
Is there any more special steps we need to do in JDev (like manual configuration file changes or command line) for the jar to take effect ?
Would I need to add this external jar the path on standalone webLogic script to load this jar or will the JDev do it for us when we add it in our Model project file ?
When do we need to add the jar at compile time in JDev and
when do we need to add the jar at WebLogic server ?
We could see that project properties of the view controller project, the Deployment-Node 'File Groups'->'WEB-INF/lib'->'Contributors' has our jar library checked.
Will this copy our jar to the standalone WLS ?
thanks for responding.
How would that be different if it were to be deployed to a standalone WebLogic Server?
How is our jar be moved into the deployed WebLogic Server once we add it as an ADF jar/library ?
It's not been clear in the section there.
The external JAR file gets packaged with the application and gets deployed. But, a bug on packaged JAR not getting deployed has been posted, for which the JAR file should be added to the startWebLogic batch script CLASSPATH variable.
