    Standby question

      Hi experts , i have a simple question ..Can we convert a logical standby to physical standby ? Yes or No, if yes how .. if no please let me.. please help

                No, that is logically impossible: a physical standby is byte-for-byte identical to the primary, but a logical standby may be very different. Even though it will have been instantiated from a physical standby, it will have diverged: different dbname and dbid, the physical and logical structures will have changed, it may have additional objects, it may have objects that are not maintained.
