      as document said i install needed patch in source environment
      and copy source environment to target environment
      then i did after clone post scripts that in db tier and app tier done successfully
      but my problem is that the adstrtal.sh doesn't work
      when i ran this script my tnsping go up to 10000 ms
      and when i ran adcmctl the system only wait in command line
      i found "Adcmctl.Sh Script Is Unable To Determine The ICM Status [ID 1320217.1]" note but it needed to

      so i install this patch but when it start to install in one line it remain and not work:

      Assigned: file jtf_diagnostic_test.xdf on worker 4 for product fnd username APPS.

      and when i checked the workwr log i saw this error:

          Please see (Getting Socket Read Timed Out Error When Applying A Patch Using Adpatch [ID 1065828.1]).

          Did AutoConfig complete successfully at the database/application tier nodes?

          Do you have any errors in the database log file?

          Thanks,
          Hussein

            Thanks Hussein for reply

            I read note *[ID 1065828.1]* as you say and after that I check my */etc/resolve.conf* and I found out this file is wrong and I corrected it.
            then the adcfgclone.pl script in two node done successfully but again there is a problem in running adstrtal.pl and HTTP_SERVER couldn't start.
            so I checked it's log and i see first:

            */u01/oracle/TEST/inst/apps/TEST_r12/ora/10.1.3/Apache/Apache/bin/apachectl startssl: execing httpd*
            */u01/oracle/TEST/apps/tech_st/10.1.3/Apache/Apache/bin/httpd: error while loading shared libraries: libdb.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory*

            and I create a softlink to my libdb library with name libdb.so.2

            then I encountered this error this time:

            */u01/oracle/TEST/inst/apps/TEST_r12/ora/10.1.3/Apache/Apache/bin/apachectl startssl: execing httpd*
            Syntax error on line 264 of /u01/oracle/TEST/inst/apps/TEST_r12/ora/10.1.3/Apache/Apache/conf/httpd.conf:
            Cannot load /u01/oracle/TEST/apps/tech_st/10.1.3/Apache/Apache/libexec/mod_ossl.so into server: /u01/oracle/TEST/apps/tech_st/10.1.3/Apache/Apache/libexec/mod_ossl.so: undefined symbol: dbm_firstkey

            after searching I found out I should apply patch 6078836, so I did it
            but again I encountered this error:

            */u01/oracle/TEST/inst/apps/TEST_r12/ora/10.1.3/Apache/Apache/bin/apachectl startssl: execing httpd*
            */u01/oracle/TEST/apps/tech_st/10.1.3/Apache/Apache/bin/httpd: symbol lookup error: /lib/libdb.so.2: undefined symbol: __db_ndbm_store*

            1) Would you please tell me what should I do?

            2) Is it possible that this problem is for OS not my clone??

            please note that my source OS is Enterprise Linux Enterprise Linux Server release 5.4 (Carthage)
            and destination is Enterprise Linux Enterprise Linux Server release 5.7 (Carthage)

            thanks

              Yes it is possible
              You can clone to higher version operating system.

                No as you can close from 5.4 to 5.7

                  Thanks Hussein so much
                  *(Attempting to Start Apache (adapcctl.sh) Throws an 'Error While Loading Shared Libraries: libdb.so.2' on RedHat Linux 5 [ID 879522.1])* solved my problem.
                  ofcource i don't understand one thing:
                  if i should run this:
                  ln -s /usr/lib/libgdbm.so.2.0.0 /usr/lib/libdb.so.2 and make a softlink to libgdbm.so.2.0.0 so what about patch number *6078836* ??
                  this patch is for this error but it couldn't help me !!!
                  can you tell me why *879522.1* instead of *6078836* ???
                  anyway my problem has solved with your help.

                  Thanks again
