1. during the DAC client installation what parameters did you feed for the informatica domain file and the client directory ?
2. Prior to connecting through DAC, have you attempted connecting to the repository through infa client ?
3. Dont ruleout an update to the host file in the windows machine

Yes, I m able to connect to the Informatica repository through the Informatica client.
I tried adding the windows machine name to the hosts file, but didn't help.
veeravalli - I've followed all the instructions in the document. I rechecked all the details corresponding to the host, domain and port number and they are correct.
I've DAC Server,Client, Informatica Server, Client all installed on the same machine. So do you suggest that I uninstall DAC completely and on re-installation choose D:\Informatica\9.0.1\clients\PowerCenterClient for Informatica powercenter path or is there any configuration file where I can update this path and test?
I found out the issue. There is a file with the name dac_env.bat located at D:\dachome\10gR3_1\bifoundation\dac. I modified the below entry from
I had to restart the DAC server after making change to the file. I m able to ping both the Integration service and the repository service now.
