THose of you who are suggesting to use a network link...Not sure if you have this right or not. If you execute expdp with a network link, the result is a dump file on the server that you execute the expdp command from. The information stored in the dumpfile comes from the database pointed to by the network link, but a dump file will be generated.
This is for exporting from one database to another database without going through the intermediate file. It will NOT create an export file. It will NOT create a >file on the client. It does NOT answer the OP's question
