The same set up which i have in my development environment works fine without any problemAre databases the same version ? which one ?
if you use wEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT to run the report, i don't think it has to do anything with forms. i don't know exactly how reports reacts when you pass an invalid. username/password-combination, but as far as i know it simply fails to produce output and doesn't ask for a new username/password. maybe its something with the application-server-configuration? maybe the reports-url is somehow protected by authentification?
thanks for quick response, I use 11G in my development environment, and I don't have any problem there. But at user environment it is Oracle 10g. Does it create any problem with the database version?

I did not understand this. Can u please tell me how to check this. I am getting the same problem when I run the same application server from my local machine (internet explorer from my local machine accessing the Application server of user environment, where the problem exists).
Thanks in advance,

all the parameters taking from config files and passing user id, password etc.Of course you did check the correctness of config files...
