OS: Solaris 10 update 10
When trying to upgrade my database from 10gR2 to 11gR2 the upgrade aborts when running the " ?/rdbms/admin/xdbuuc2.sql " portion of the upgrade. I figured this out by performing a manual upgrade and spooling the output to a upgrade.log. Running the " xdbuuc2.sql " was the last thing it before it aborted the upgrade.
I then looked into the " xdbuuc2.sql " SQL script and it states " This procedure checks for non-system (user) dependents of a schema and raises an error if any are found. This will abort upgrade "
So I'm fairly confident this is the cause of my problem. My question is, how can I identify these dependencies and remove them.
Pl post details of exact versions of "10gR2" and "11gR2", along with the last 100 lines of the upgrade log.
Pl note that the minimum version of 10gR2 required for a direct upgrade to 11gR2 is 10.2.0.2 - http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e23633/preup.htm#i1007814.
Have you run the pre-upgrade script and met/corrected all of the issues noted in the output ?
Pl also post any errors/information recorded in the database alert log when this issue occurs
My database is 10.2.0.4
Unfortunately, I can't post the error portion of the log because of classification issues. The last script that the upgrade attemps to run before the upgrade aborts is the xdbuuc2.sql script.
