It could be captured in the http://javafx-jira.kenai.com/browse/RT-25343
My 2 cents
I'm not permissioned to see that item:
It seems that you have tried to perform an operation which you are not permitted to perform.
If you think this message is wrong, please consult your administrators about getting the necessary permissions.
I have an account, but I can't see that Jira.
Yep, this is the same JIRA issue. I've made it public.
You need ant-javafx.jar from JDK8 build (can specify JDK 7 as source of runtime to embed) as this is the only build where fix is exposed right now (i think).
I see the same behavior with JDK 8b59. Is it fixed in a later version?
To be clear, my App does not take command line arguments. The /debug argument is a Windows thing that forces the exe to spit output to the console. I'm still at a loss for why this would make a difference in whether the app would run or not.
Can someone point me into some Windows tools to point to the issue for the BufferOverflow? I've been using ProcessMonitor, but without any success.
