Use of TBR with date/times instead of just dates

Is it possible to use time-based reasoning with dates and times (rather than just dates)? For example, my client has rules about transactions that are logged on a minute-to-minute basis and wants to reason about them by looking at overlapping periods of time.

I tried to set date/times as change points in the debugger and via rules, to no avail.

Thanks for your help.

For efficiency reasons, temporal reasoning is date-based only.

Are there rules and other data that overlap with the transaction time periods? If not, then temporal reasoning might not be the best solution anyway. It sounds more like checking to see if there is a set of transactions that meet certain criteria, within a sliding time window? That's a pretty expensive operation to perform.
