    Java Certification Options

      When reviewing the options for Java certification on the Oracle Certification Finder, there are headings for several categories. These are supposed to lead to different job roles. However, I can't really figure out the difference between getting certified under Java Standard Edition and Java Enterprise Edition (in terms of job role). Can someone explain?

          Not necessarily. Being certified in more than one product doesn't necessarily change your job role.

          Both platforms would be for a Java developer. Said developer would choose which platform that he works in (or wants to work in... or thinks he's most likely to work in...). A note on the differences between the two platforms is here:
