LDAP authentication - account expired - allow logon
Oct 23, 2012 8:38 AM
We have implemented succesfully LDAP authentication.
The "accountExpires" on the LDAP server is based on the last term activation of the student (value is set through webservices).
Now they want to allow students to logon into PeopleSoft to use the self service to "enroll" in the next term, even when their account has expired.
But the "LDAPBind" funcion on "FUNCLIB_LDAP.LDAPAUTH.FieldDefault" seems to respond only with 0 or 1, without detail.
(see also http://peoplesoft.ittoolbox.com/groups/technical-functional/peopletools-l/peoplesoft-ldap_bind-return_status-how-to-get-more-detailed-status-code-3127473 )
Has anyone a similar situation?
Kind regards, Bart
