We have recently installed RHEL6 and we are planning for a rollout, but i couldnt download the RPM Binaries or source for RHEL 6. Where can i find the latest RPM packages for the below..
I reaaly couldnt find anywhere, i found few RPMs but not from Redhat but from some other sites..Any ideas..
Red Hat does not provide public access to online software or patches. The base distribution and packages should however be on your installation DVD. Do you have a support subscription with Red Hat? If no, why use RHEL? If yes, why ask here about online access to Red Hat software?
Why not using Oracle Linux, which is free, including online software access and patches. http://public-yum.oracle.com
From a strategic point, considering the future, you will most likely benefit more from Oracle Linux than RHEL, in particular if you are using Oracle Database. Oracle Linux is binary compatible with RHEL, but uses it's own optimzed UEK kernel. Various Oracle database related software and kernel drivers are removed or not supported by RHEL starting with release version 6.

Thats brilliant thanks..
We use because ,it will also be a Appserver and the apps will be compatible with only RHEL and not OL.LEt me try with the base installation..But Thanks for the info..Very useful.
Oracle Linux is 100 % binary compatible with RHEL. By default it also installs the original RHEL kernel, which you can switch to in order to address possible kernel driver related issues. Of course, certain RHEL specific and paid for options may not be available.
