We are currently on R12 and our AR Team is experiencing any issue with one customer that is supposed to be active and have active sites.
When they query for the customer, we get the header level as show as "Inactive" and site level as "Active". When reviewing customer header details we show it as "Active". When querying customer record in the back end we show the status of "I"=inactive in HZ_PARTIES table.
We would like to know how this account became inactive and how to resolve further.

There are 2 ways we can change status of the party:
This can be done only from Customers Online Data Librarian Responsibility
Login to Customers Online Data Librarian Responsibility
Data Quality' tab
->'Party Maintenance' sub-tab
-> Query for party
you will find the status field available
Change status and Save
Use hz_party_v2pub.update_organization API to update the status.
Please use following parameters to it :
-- p_party_object_version_number (current object version number from HZ_PARTIES
(party_id which has to be activated)
(='A' for active status)
