I created a Jdeveloper webcenter portal framework application which included a Document manager taskflow and deployed it on the Admin server which is being shared by UCM as well.
The deployment is successful and I'm able to see contents in the various folders as well. The problem is when i click on a document info and go to the advanced metadata and try to edit it ,I get the following error:
"Error 404--Not Found
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
10.4.5 404 Not Found
The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent.
If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (Forbidden) can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address."
I tried configuring the OHS to enable the editing of Advanced metadata, but it is still giving me the same error..
Can anyone provide me any guidance on the same...
First of all, this is a WebCenter Portal forum question.
I have seen something similar (from Spaces, not from a WebCenter app, though). The reason was that the link has not resolved properly ports - for instance, if WebCenter Portal ran on http://server:port1/webcenter and WebCenter Content on http://server:port2/CS_instance, the link lead to http://server:port1/CS_instance). It was a VM prepared by an engineer in the US, and he resolved the issue by configuring the web server so that the port info was not necessary in the URL - http://server/webcenter worked as well as http://server/CS_instance and the issue with ports simply disappeared.
Apologies for posting it in the wrong forum. But i would like to add here that i have deployed my application on the WC_Spaces server and then tried ,but it dod not worked.
I tried to deploy it on the same admin server on which UCM was running ,but it did not help either...
