If you know which column and table is suspect, you can write a simple query to compare the length of the column (using LENGTH function http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e26088/functions088.htm#SQLRF00658) to the length of the column after LTRM and RTRIM operations are applied. If there are no leading or training spaces, then the length values will be equal, else they will be different1 person found this helpful
