We have a windows server (2008 R2) which requires both 32 and 64 bit oracle client installs.
Theory is 2 different accounts on this machine will run various 3rd party services - some require 32 bit, some 64 bit, each service will run under a different account on the server (e.g account32 will run the services requiring oracle 32 bit) and account64 will run the services requiring 64 bit.
With regards the install, shoule we install oracle 32 bit client using account32 and login separately with account64 to install oracle 64 bit client?
Oracle version 220.127.116.11
On my laptop..I have two oracle client(32 and 64). just to encourage you
But to be more safe: "install oracle 32 bit client using account32 and login separately with account64 to install oracle 64 bit client"
