    FDM drill

      I have members associated with multiple plan types and I know I can associate them with only one source plan type, eliminating the need to store them in all the data types.

      Will this prevent drill-through from FDM from either of the Plan Types?

      Thanks,
      Jz

          The drill-through should be based on the data loaded from FDM, so if you have a form with a POV that has data loaded from FDM for that plan type then drill-through should be available, the form will need to be against the source plan type for drill-through

          Cheers

            I thought I was going to have 2 FDM applications to load data to both Essbase cubes(Plan Types) and that's how drill through would work...that's not the case?

            It sounds like the only reason I might need 2 FDM applications is if I need to load data via FDM to different members in Plan Type 2 only?

            Am I missing anything?

            Thanks,

              Why two applications, couldn't you use multiple target adaptors and use locations.

              Cheers

                So I could have locations set up as as;
                - "Location_Name & Accounts In Common"
                - "Location_Name & Accounts Not In Common"

                That would work...that's what you are saying correct?

                Thanks,
