    Installation Error

      Hi JB,

Sorry for not open the new thread.

I tried your suggestion but didn't get any resolution for the same.
When I clicked on UninstallBrowserHelpers.bat file I am getting the same error as:

      "WebDom Browser helper installation failed
Failed to reigster openscript IEToolbar DLL"

After that I deleted that directory "Oracle IE ToolBar" also and again run InstallBrowserHelpers.bat file, but got the same problem.

Please suggest me, thanks in advance.

      Thanks,
      Vikram

      Hi,

When i tried to install OATS 9.3, its throwing the error:

      WebDom Browser helper installation failed
failed to reigster openscript IEToolbar DLL

can you help me what could be the reason for this error?

      Thanks,
      Vikram

      Hi Vikram
Please open a new thread for new issue.
      You need to
      * make sure to run OATS installer "as administrator" on Windows 7 or 2008
      * check that you use a supported version of your browser. ie ATS 9.3 doesn't support IE 9 for example.
      * close all browser during installation
After installation you can reinstall browser helper by typing in a command dos (run a administrator if w7)
      close all browsers
      C:\OracleATS\openScript>UninstallBrowserHelpers.bat
delete the directory "Oracle IE ToolBar"
      C:\OracleATS\openScript>InstallBrowserHelpers.bat

          Hello
          What is your OS?
          What is your IE version?
Is there any other browser helper (like QTP) installed ?

              Can you do a
OpenScript Menu -> Help -> OpenScript Diagnosis Tool ?
              And give us the result?

Maybe you could try to disable fiddler. IE addons can always have a nasty impact.

Otherwise, you could try to manually register the dll in the command prompt and try to understand from the Windows perspective, what's wrong.
