    Hello;

    RMAN-06085 - A RESTORE command for the specified datafile could not find a destination name for the specified datafile.

    Example
    SET NEWNAME FOR DATAFILE 1 TO '/u01/app/oracle/oradata/RECLONE/system01.dbf';

    So it will create the datafile in the correct path.
    With a little dynamic SQL this is easy :
    set heading off
    set feedback off
    set pagesize 400

    select ' newname  for datafile ' || file#|| ' to ' || name from v$datafile;
    Make sure your file structure is setup too.

    Best Regards

    Only one Oracle MOS note on this :

    OERR: RMAN 6085 must use SET NEWNAME command to restore datafile %s [ID 48232.1]

    But it has no new information.

    Best Regards
