right click the vm guest and choose "launch console".1 person found this helpful
Thank you for your answer. I have tried this a couple days ago, and not able to display any console. I wonder anyone encounter same troubles like I did.
1. Firefox (the VM Manager default browser constantly asked me to Opening wls.ads. )
2. try to save ovm_rasproxy-ws.jnlp
And then ... goes no where.
Can you please at least tell me if my racnode1, racnode2 are built?
tight vnc must be loaded in the VM manager.1 person found this helpful
It is preferred that you install either TightVNC on the Oracle VM Manager host computer. You can get the
latest TightVNC package from:
Install TightVNC with the command:
# rpm -ivh tightvnc-java-version.noarch.rpm
Have you done the above?
Thank you so much. This leads me toward the answer even more. I feel I am so close to my answer.
I have checked my VM Manager host machine.
1. tightvnc is installed
2. ovm-console is installed
3. I re-installed java so it is 1.6...
I do notice that when I press "Launch Console", something popup quickly and disappear quickly also. then the normal behavior. Save file... then go no where.
Please HELP! I feel I am so close.
Open the saved file. If contains the paths to the console. Just double click.1 person found this helpful
What browser are you using?
The Firefox is accompanied with the Oracle VM Manager 3.1.1 ova template, which is 3.6.18 (It seems a bit old)
Thank you for your info.
This document fixed this issue.
I will close this post. For my next question:
1. the buildcluster.sh doesn't run?
2. why I can't ping the VM even when I in VM?
