org.omg.CORBA.BAD_PARAM: Could not find FVD class for.....

Weblogic 10.3.0.0

application deployed as an ear file containing jar and war file.

Client is a java webstart client.

This setup had worked for a long time, but now I get this error on the server when server throws an exception to the client.
The exception is an old class that has been used for a long time.
