I am working with OPA, and am relatively new to Business Rules. I would like to appear for the OPA certification Exam namely :- IZ0 534 Oracle Policy Automation 10 Certified Implementation Specialist.
Q1 Could some one please help me to know, as in :- are the class room programs a must before you can appear for the certification?
Q2 Also in case class room tutorials are not compulsory to take the certification exam, then what all material is available outside for preparing for the exams?
Completion of the OU courses is not required to take the exam, but is recommended. Successful completion of the Oracle Policy Modeling Essentials Part 1 and Part 2 courses prepares students for the exam. Short of attending the courses there are tutorials, help and reference guides on OTN and examples that ship with the product. However, the materials that are mostly closely correlated to the exam would be the the materials covered in the courses and those provided as part of the OPA Implementation Specialist guided learning path.
That link works for me. It's one which requires a log-in though. Based on the URL, it looks like it's on the Oracle Partner Network. Some things on the Partner Network are available to everyone, and some things are only available to official partners. Either way, it requires a log-in.
I suggest creating a log-in and then try accessing the page once logged in. To create a log-in... load the link you have and underneath the sign-in section there's a link to 'Sign Up for a free Oracle Web account'.
Just realised that if you are posting messages on this forum, then you must already have an Oracle log-in. When trying to load that page, do you get asked for a username/password? If you fill in those fields with your Oracle log-in, can you access the page?
If you can't, I suspect it means that page is only accessible to Oracle partner organisations.
