We have a page in a task flow that consists of a number of items displayed vertically in a scrolled PanelGroupLayout. User uses the browser scrollbar however to see the items at the bottom of the page. User clicks on the item to see its details which takes the user to another page via an action outcome (af:commandLink's action attribute). This loads another .jspx but does not reset the browser to the top of the page. It remains near the bottom. How would I get it to land at the top of the new page instead?
this really sounds odd. Are you perfoming partial page navigation (PPRNavigation) or conventional JSPX to JSPX page navigation? If you use JSPX documents then the browser should load a new page which usually always ends up in a full page refresh. Is the behavior the same on different browser versions ?
Yes we are doing PPR but the link, which uses a controller task outcome as its "action" attribute is taking us to a new .jspx, e.g. labsummary.jsp -> labdetails.jspx. The entire page is not refreshed. We are using a single page template for the site, so it is just refreshing the content area and updating the page template (the header, footer, and left vertical nav bar).
