You need to put the script in Exchange machine.
You don't need .bat file.
Thanks for your quick reply , if i copied script on exchnage system and i have rmanager configured ...what do i need to do in java code. Do i need to call remote manager to execute script or i need to script directly using exec method.
I think you should write a Remote task in the Adapter which will execute the code on the Remote Manager to execute script...1 person found this helpful
Means you need to let remote manager execute script...
In case you need to know about basic configurations etc for Remote Manager, this link is going to be helpful for you:
And this thread contains some good discussion on Remote Manager:-

Thank you Sirji, Let me check and get back to you.
Thanks a lot Hemant,
I followed the steps..but still not able to get the remote manager to appear on the remote manager form. Also, when I implemented remote task and deployed the same on both OIM and remote manager server but when I invoke the task it is throwing the following error:
com.thortech.xl.remotemanager.RMRemoteException: Connection refused to host: xx.xx.xx.xx; nested exception is:
java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused
Can you help me with this? Do you think its the issue with the connectivity?
