How to mount a cd-rom on a OE 5.7 guest?

I downloaded a VM template from Oracle and it's missing some commands (or it seems so...).
For example,I can't seem to mount nfs.
I get the following message :
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on <...>
missing codepage or helper program, or other error
(for several filesystems (e.g. nfs, cifs) you might
      need a /sbin/mount. helper program)
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
      dmesg | tail or so
I would like to mount an RH 5.7 iso and maybe reinstall the nfs rpm's.
The iso is already uploaded in my repository.
How do I mount the cd-rom on the guest?

Well… it's pretty hard to judge on what you did wrong, since you haven't actually provided what you did, that led to that error. As far as I can say, all Oracle VM templates provide a complete stack of the OS, including NFS.

If you'd wanted to mount a CD-Rom inside an OVM guest, it would be easiest to convert such a CD to an ISO file, import that ISo using OVMM and attach that ISO file to the quest in question.

            Ok,I will explain further :
1.I downloaded an Oracle EM12cR2 template from e-Delivery.
2.I cloned the template to a guest. The OS is OE 5.7
3.The new guest is running fine.I was able to expand its disks, without any problems.
Now my goal is to mount one of our NAS servers,as I need to install some addition software on the guest.
At that point I hit the nfs error.
Anyway,I made some progress regarding the cd-rom mount :
1.I downloaded and imported into my repository a full OE 5.7 iso
2.I changed the guest to be PVM and
3.I exported the iso to my guest as a CD-DVD
4.In the guest I mounted the iso as cd-rom and its working fine
Additionally I defined it as a yum local repository
I installed nfs rpm's (which were missing) and the dependents rpm's using yum
I still have some issues ,but I think I'm better now.

              Hi, Rudi:

Care to share what the remaining issues are, so that we may provide advice? Or are you working through this?

I had to restart the guest and now the "mount" command is working fine
