What version of app are you working on ?
Does the system show any message in the status bar at the bottom of the forms screen ?
Can you categorise these employees ? What is different for these employees and the others for which it saves properly ?
One way to debug the issue is :
- take an employee for whom the data isn't getting saved
- try using the seeded API and see if the data gets saved
just use one of the fields - payroll, position or supervisor to test your scenario.
Initially when i save the data, it successfully saves. a month later, the data disappeared. Same data is stored for every employee. The data does not disappear upon saving.
If the data is saved, it wont disappear unless you've run some process or someone else has updated it :)
Does the system has implemented "Security Profile" Settings?
It may be security problem. The responsibility you entered may not have right to query those data.
If system has security profile settings, that assignment's organization should be setted on organization hierarchy.
You should check this first.
what happens when you query for the record from database. Does it not fetches the value still?
