JMS topic - message lifecycle logging

I have requirement to log events in the JMS Message Life Cycle (produced, consumed, expired, retry exceed).

Tried to configure BEA Weblogic server (both 9.2.1 and 10.3.2) using following Oracle documentation http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E16764_01/web.1111/e13738/troubleshoot.htm#i1128815
without any luck. Nothing gets logged into jms.message.log. Log file is created after server starts up. After message arrives on corresponding TOPIC nothing gets logged.

I've turned logging of all properties, headers and message body.

BEA weblogic uses JDK logging.

Application containing MDB uses log4j logging with separate APP-INF/classes/log4j.properties logging configuration.
Application is deployed on separate managed server.
