    Create New User In Oracle ERP R12.

    RRA
      Hello,

      How can I create a new user directly in database instead of creating from System Administrator menu in Oracle Applications R12 ?
      Also, is it possible to apply some default responsibilities when a creation of new user account take place via database ?

      Thanks.

          Hi;

          As you know EBS is very complicated product, you can add some user on db level but its recommended to use EBS screen for your issue.

          You can check below thread which is related user and responsibility

          R12 Adding responsibility for all users
          Responsibilities not assigned to any user

              Hi Alex;

              As you can see I didnt say you can not create user with backend, I said its recomended to use EBS screen for user create ;)

                    how it can help OP?
                    Let me think:
                    1. It may not help to poster or I may posted it wrongly so than OP can ignore my post
                    2. You already shared I may shared this maybe to give some other point to show for batch creation of User Accounts. Again, OP is not interested than he/she can ignore my message ;)

                    3.> did you see content before post?

                    I belive yes I did ;)

                    4. I am not sure what OP will get something usefull from our ask question-give answers session.
