Try to deploy a sample Portal application, this is some thing related to webcenter framework libraries missing,
I created a fresh application and didn't add anything to it and tried deploying that on remote server, still same exception.

Not Sure, but you can look in your weblogic.xml or weblogic-application.xml for any reference of oracle.webcenter.lifecycle.listener.FeatureMetricApplicationListener . Or you can use JDeveloper search to find any reference. If it exist, remove it and try to run the application.

I am getting following warning message:
<Nov 30, 2012 5:47:30 PM GMT> <Warning> <J2EE> <BEA-160140> <Unresolved optional package references (in META-INF/MANIFEST.MF): [Extension-Name: oracle.apps.common.resource, referenced from: /oracle/product/admin/domains/wcdomain/servers/WC_CustomPortal/tmp/_WL_user/oracle.webcenter.framework/tft9f7]. Make sure the referenced optional package has been deployed as a library.>
I'll look further into it and update.
it's working now.
this is what i did:
1. commented following in weblogic-application.xml file:
2. then i started getting following error:
[03:36:42 PM] Weblogic Server Exception: weblogic.application.ModuleException: Failed to load webapp: 'myapp'
[03:36:42 PM] Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.webcenter.portalwebapp.servlet.PortalErrorServlet
i found this PortalErrorServlet servlet entry in web.xml file, so i commented that as well.
n now application is deployed.
and i got this clue when i deployed sample application available on yannick's site, which got deployed successfully and that application didn't has entry for above classes...

better i should have used jdev 188.8.131.52.
Jdeveloper version corresponding to web center version
our webcenter version is older (184.108.40.206) - check previous thread. for applications developed in jdev 220.127.116.11, there is no issue - smooth deployment.
