    restarting table redefinition

Have large table that needs partitioning.
Created interim table that with appropriate partitioning information.
      I ran dbms_redefinition.can_redef_table successfully.
      initiated the dbms_redefinition.start_redef_table command...
This ran for *33:27:49.64* and failed when one tablespace ran out of space. (ARRGGGG)
I read that I needed to abort the (pending) processing before I could do anything, so
      I ran the dbms_redefinition.abort_redef_table command.
I then tried running the dbms_redefinition.sync_interin_table command, and got
      'invalid interim table'
Is there a way to restart without truncating my interim table?
