    Not able to install weblogic 12.1

      I am trying to install weblogic 12.1
      I downloaded the wls1211_linux32.bin file and gave it 755 permissions.
      When I am trying to run it, its giving no such file or directory error.

      $ ./wls1211_linux32.bin
      bash: ./wls1211_linux32.bin: No such file or directory

      Any suggestions on this?

          Found the problem.

          I was installing weblogic 12.1 on Ubuntu 12.10 64 bit OS.

          $ uname -a
          Linux 3.5.0-17-generic #28-Ubuntu SMP Tue Oct 9 19:31:23 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

          and the installer is of 32 bit.

          $ file wls1211_linux32.bin
          wls1211_linux32.bin: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked (uses shared libs), for GNU/Linux 2.2.5, stripped

          32 bit shared libraries doesnt are not available by default with Ubuntu 64 bit.

          To download it -

          sudo apt-get install ia32-libs

          The issue was fixed after installing 32 bit shared libraries.
