    Customizing BPM workSpace

    Pavan69
      Hi ,

Can any one give some idea or sample example how to customize the Oracle BPM Workspace.
Instead of Task, Priority,Title, Creator, Status and etc.. we need to replace with Company, Employee id, Joindate, etc and need to fetch the details from the data objects of BPM and need to populate in the BPM workspace.

      Regards,
      Pavan

          Pavan,

I think the following link has the answer you are looking for
          http://beatechnologies.wordpress.com/2011/06/29/using-flex-fields-in-oracle-bpm-11g/

Briefly, a process variable is exposed as flex-fields.
These flex-fields could be displayed in the bpm workspace(inbox).

          regards,
          Dinesh

I advise checking out the docs here - http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/user.1111/e15175/bpmug_ext_apps.htm#BACCACGI

You can customize the columns names to fit your needs. I hear there's a patch coming that will allow the modification of OOTB fields, not just flex-fields.
