Yes with CubeRefresh utility have a read of http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E17236_01/epm.1112/hp_admin/ch12s06s01.html
Thanks for your guidance on this question.
I am running the following command from a Windows DOS batch file. It suns for about 10 seconds but the DOS window closes and don't know where to look to find the log results of running this process...could you direct me where I can find the log information?
Even though I only want to run a security refresh do I need to specify the "/D" parameter?
CubeRefresh.cmd /A:MyPlan /U:MyUser /F /L /DEBUG
If you run it from a command prompt then the window should not close, it would if you are running it from a script, are you definitely opening up a command prompt and then changing directory to <MIDDLEWARE_HOME>\user_projects\<instancename>\Planning\planning1 and running the utility.
When you run it from command prompt it should ask you for a password first as you have not specified a password file.
Awesome...that worked. That is, following your suggestion (open a DOS window and running the process from there) showed all the results and at the end of hte process I see the "Cube refresh completed successfully.' message. Thanks for your help John!
