I am using IKM (Oracle Incremental Update) for my initial loads.
Go for SQL Control Append KM for initial/first time load , this should work out faster.
When we run the interfaces, it’s incredibly slow. Any idea where we can fine tune the performance? Average interface has 3-5 Look Ups with around 2-3 Million records loading taking more than hours which is beyond expectation.
Please share your consideration when developing interfaces which small to medium volume of data or where can improve the performance by creating index. Thanks in Advance..
You can also use the "Oracle Incremental Update (MERGE)" to use the merge function. It would be faster than doing insert statement and update statement.
But for an initial load, I've got the same opinion than Sutirtha Roy : create a special interface that use "control append".
