I need help for a conditional formatting in a particular report.
I have to create a report which shows a bar graph with Hour on X axis and Amount Sold measure
The data is
01-JAN-2012 00:00:00 100
01-JAN-2012 01:00:00 150
01-JAN-2012 02:00:00 150
Now I want to do a conditional formatting in graph using the date time column. When time equal to
01-JAN-2012 00:00:00 then RED when 01-JAN-2012 01:00:00 the Blue etc.
When I add the conditional format it works on the table view but doesn't work on Graph. Is this a bug in OBIEE ?
Please let me know if there is any work around.
Note : I can create a new column in the report with case statement and then use this column in graph. But my limitation is I cant use case statement.
Thanks in advance.
Try it using Pivot table view with chart as shown in
using Graph Properties-> Style and Conditional Formatting

I checked the report xml and it looks fine to me.
The same tag works for table view.
I have tried the conditional formatting in pivot view as well.
I donno this question has been answered or not. if not please refer below. ( Obiee 11g)
Edit Graph properties - > Style Tab -> Grpah Data- Style and Conditional Formatting -> Conditional Formatting -> Add Conditional Formatting.
You can add Conditional Formatting similar to Column Properties.
Mark Correct if its answered.
I know how conditional formatting is done in Graphs. The issue here is I am not able to format using a TIMESTAMP column. I able to do conditional formatting using Integer or Varchar data type but not TIMESTAMP.
It looks like a bug to me.
