start your acfs drivers by root
$GI_HOME/bin/acfsload start -s
Thank you but i can not even find that file under grid_home/bin.
is that command available in solaris?
documents keep talking about loading acfs drivers. where are those drivers and how to load them? remember, it is solaris.
[oracle@test bin]$ cd $ORACLE_HOME/bin
[oracle@test bin]$ ls -ltr acfsload
-rwxr-x--- 1 root dba 1130 Jul 31 16:58 acfsload
ACFS is not supported on solaris local zones/containers. Check with system admin whether it is local or global container/zone
ACFS Supported On OS Platforms. [ID 1369107.1]
Thanks for your input.
We are missing the ACFS binaries after we installed 184.108.40.206 GRID and Database on Solaris 10 Update 8.
The following are missing from the GRID_HOME/bin:
Acfsload, acfsroot, acfsdriverstate, acfsregitrymount, acfssinglefsmount.
I see these in 220.127.116.11 version of a LINUX install in our datacenter but don’t see it in our Solaris Install.
