Based on conditions datatypes are getting change, you suppose to keep same datatype in then and else cluase.
In your case:
SUM("Pending Claim - Process Time"."Days Pending"+ TIMESTAMPDIFF(SQL_TSI_DAY, date '2010-10-30', "Pending Claim - Process Time"."Claim Date"))
is number type
ELSE "Pending Claim - Process Time"."Claim Date" is date type
I would suggest to get the claim date using case statement and do the calculation out side the case
If helps pls mark as correct/helpful
Simply put you cannot make the same field the place for both numbers and text.
The only way you could do what you are trying to achieve is to cast the sum() result as char to keep it consistent with your else statement, or make your else a 0 (zero).
Can you mark as correct/helpful?
