How to subtract SYSTEM CURRENT DATE and DATE pulled from Siebel
Nov 23, 2012 10:20 AM
How do I subtract the CURRENT DATE and Date that is entered in Siebel?
CURRENT DATE - Date record in Siebel
Current Date = 11/25/2012
Date record in Siebel = 11/20/2012
Technically the answers I want will be 5.
How do I do this? My idea is to put an expression in the BMM layer but I just want to get as well your ideas:
Current_Date - "Oracle Data Warehouse"."Catalog"."dbo"."TABLE_NAME"."COLUMN_NAME"

You can use timestampdiff function available in OBIEE to get difference between two dates. Below is one of the blogs which can help you with syntax.
You can also google timestampdiff function to get more clarity on its usage and syntax.
