re-associate policy store to oracle db

    user5636757
hi guys, i am trying to re-associate policy store to oracle db. i am following steps mentioned here - http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21764_01/webcenter.1111/e12405/wcadm_security_credstore.htm#CFHDEDJH

      It says:
Installed the RCU and the OPSS schema

In following link (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21764_01/webcenter.1111/e12405/wcadm_deploy.htm#BABGGEEJ) they are running rcu with metadata services. Is this correct or it's just an example of how to run rcu?

Installed an Oracle database (Oracle RDBMS version 10.2.0.4+, 11.1.0.7+, or 11.2.0.1+) - already done

      Installed WebLogic Server and SOA

      Created a domain

For instructions on how to create a new domain, see "Creating a New Domain" in the Oracle Fusion Middleware Installation Guide for Oracle WebCenter.

Do I need to install another server instance? do I need to create new domain with soa services selected? can anyone tell me what services to select while domain creation?

      Created a data source

For instructions on how to create a data source, see "Creating a JDBC Data Source" in the Oracle Fusion Middleware Configuring and Managing JDBC for Oracle WebLogic Server.

what data sources are to be created here? no mention of this.

Associate the schema and database connection. For information about how to associate the schema and database connection, see Section 7.1.5, "Creating and Registering the Metadata Service Repository."

covered in step 1 i guess (run rcu).

Migrate the policy and credential store to the database using WLST using the following command:

      reassociateSecurityStore(domain="your_domain", datasourcename="your_data_source", servertype="DB_ORACLE", jpsroot="cn=jpsTestNode")

      ----

the schema which we would create when running rcu - where is that being utilized?

can anyone done this before provide some inputs. thanks.

i think i got this working. these blogs were helpful:
          http://redstack.wordpress.com/2011/10/29/soa11g-database-as-a-policy-store/
          http://fusionsecurity.blogspot.co.uk/2011/10/reassociation-business.html

i got following output when i changed store from em console:

          Starting to migrate policy store...
Set up security provider reassociation successfully.
Checked and seeded security store schema successfully.
          Succeeded in migrating data.
          Tested JPS Service
          Updated security store reassociation configuration.
          Completed migrating policy store.
          Starting to migrate credential store...
Set up security provider reassociation successfully.
Checked and seeded security store schema successfully.
          Succeeded in migrating data.
          Tested JPS Service
          Updated security store reassociation configuration.
          Completed migrating credential store.
          Starting to migrate keystore...
Set up security provider reassociation successfully.
Checked and seeded security store schema successfully.
          Succeeded in migrating data.
          Tested JPS Service
          Updated security store reassociation configuration.
