    Add variables into WS class

    mycoffee
I have java bean classes generated by ws-import from a wsdl
Can I modify the classes, adding a variable to mark something when I load them from database, but it won't be sent to SOAP?

you can do that, but it makes project maintenance very difficult as you will lose any modifications if you ever need to generate those classes again. in my current projects, we never actually check-in the generated classes, only the schemas. generating the classes happens as part of the build cycle.

            Thank for great advice
I will write a wrapper instead
