Hi,1 person found this helpful
I do this on the export from the original side and then just load in this entire file - the parfile i use for this is as follows
INCLUDE=TABLE:"IN ( select table_name from dba_tables where owner = 'ENDUR_GO11_ENV04B_DEV' and temporary = 'Y')"
This may not be the complete list for you - it depends if you have any other object types. This is also for a schema level export and not a full - but you get the idea - hope that helps.
Temporary tables are a bit of a gotcha - they are not included in the tts set as they are only 'logicl objects' - not physical ones.
Thanks for the reply, however would it be possible for me to get these without the need of an additional export? Best using the expdp full=Y dump I already have available?
Or, get ONLY the additional information since I already have all of the data, constraints and indexes imported?
if I do this expdp:
Can I then import that over my new database with transported tablespaces?
DIRECTORY=dir DUMPFILE=file SCHEMAS=(SCHEMA) INCLUDE=FUNCTION,PACKAGE,PROCEDURE,SEQUENCE,SYNONYM,VIEW,SYSTEM_GRANT
Another thing I'm thinking about is running impdp with the EXCLUDE option, something like:
impdp system full=Y exclude=PLUGTS_BLK,TABLE,GRANT,INDEX,CONSTRAINT,INDEX_STATISITCS,COMMENT,TRIGGER,TABLE_STATISTICS
Is this possible?
you should be able to use the full dump file you already have.
either include= everything you want
exclude = everythng you don;t want
Yes, I've run it as described, using exclude for those objects that are mentioned as finished in the transportable tablespace import. Seems to be working, which is good news.
Thanks for comments.
