      Hi all,

I have a problem with LDAP, ldap_cachemgr log shows the following errors:

      Mon Nov 12 12:54:33.4131 Starting ldap_cachemgr, logfile /var/ldap/cachemgr.log
      Mon Nov 12 12:54:33.9653 sig_ok_to_exit(): parent exiting...
Wed Nov 21 08:36:51.0321 Error: Unable to refresh profile:default:Session error no available conn.
Wed Nov 21 08:36:51.0423 Error: Unable to update from profile

also, /var/adm/messages is showing the Session Error:

      Nov 21 08:36:48 testw1 ftpd[3030]: [ID 293258 daemon.warning] libsldap: Status: 7 Mesg: Session error no available conn.
      Nov 21 08:36:50 testw1 ftpd[3081]: [ID 293258 daemon.warning] libsldap: Status: 7 Mesg: Session error no available conn.
      Nov 21 08:36:50 testw1 ftpd[3083]: [ID 293258 daemon.warning] libsldap: Status: 7 Mesg: Session error no available conn.

Nov 21 08:36:51 testw1 ldap_cachemgr[589]: [ID 186574 daemon.error] Error: Unable to refresh profile:default: Session error no available conn.
      Nov 21 08:36:51 testw1 ftpd[3085]: [ID 293258 daemon.warning] libsldap: Status: 7 Mesg: Session error no available conn

and for one reason the home directories have strange owners, something like this:

      drwxr-x--- 9 *1808* nms 1024 Mar 29 2011 mg046438
      drwxr-x--- 9 rj005909 nms 1024 Mar 29 2011 mg416260
      drwxr-x--- 9 *1818* nms 1024 Mar 29 2011 mg453980
      drwxr-x--- 9 *1819* nms 1024 Mar 29 2011 mg456360
      drwxr-x--- 9 *1826* nms 1024 Mar 29 2011 mg457350

I know how to fix this but i would like to know the root cause of this error because i have the same error several times. Also I would like to know how can i prevent this

I hope you can help me on this

      Thank you very much
