1. You have written that you want to populate some values from Process Form to Request Form (Reverse Order) .. Generally we pass values to Process Form FROM Request Form1 person found this helpful
2. You want to set some default value then go to Form Designer > Set Default Value as 0 or 1 in Form Designer itself
3. if you want to pass value from Request Form to Process Form then use DATA FLOW under Process Definition
Assuming that you are using OIM 10g.
normally 1 and 0. True=1 and False=0. you can have the variable type as string
Rajiv, sorry It's what you said. Populate from request form to process form. I tried setting up the values with 0 and 1 in form designer and also with prepopulate adapter. Both options (mutually exclusive) not working.
Which version of OIM are you using ?
Set Value as 1 in Form Designer and Remove Pepopulate Adapter.
NOTE: Make sure Auto Prepopulate and Auto Save is also Checked on Process Definition.
Try with DataFlow if above suggestion don't work.
We are working on OIM 11gR2. We tried both options like setting the values to 0 and 1 at first. We removed the values and then with prepopulate adapter. Both options are not working.
Regarding DATAFLOW, we didnt find that option in 11gR2.
what happen if you directly map or pre-populate as string true and false
go through below link for per-populate in Request dataset
We have declared attribute type as boolean(Checkbox). For other fields of type String and Integer, the default value is getting populated in request form. But its not happening for type boolean. If we try using the attribute type as string with true or false values, i think it should work. Since we cannot change the variable type to string now in form designer (we are in later stages of build phase), we are trying to find if we can populate the boolean value.
It works perfectly fine for Process Form.
It seems that you are talking about Application Instance Form. Default Value for CheckBox in Application Instance Form is not supported. You can do UI Customization to achieve the same.
