    EM compliance tab

    Roger25
      Hi,

In Enterprise Manager 11 (or 12), where is the 'Compliance' tab? (like in this image: http://www.packtpub.com/sites/default/files/Article-Images/middleware-oracle-01-02.png )
In EM 11 i see only a 'Database' tab, at the top. In version 10 there are more tabs there, as you can see
How can i access the 'Compliance' tab, to quickly assess/see the overall compliance score, and other informations?

Also, if i have Oracle Database 11gR2 (11.2.0.3), on my local machine, and Enterprise Manager 11 database control (configured by me, with the emca tool), can i install Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c Cloud Control R2? Or, since this is my local machine only, i don't need EM 12c?
      Thanks

The compliance area has been greatly improved in EM 12c. You can find an overview as well as details of the compliance area in the Lifecycle management administrators guide here:
          http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E24628_01/em.121/e27046/compliance_lcm.htm#CIAIICAF

And in order to install EM 12c, should i first deconfigure my actual EM console, or I can install EM 12c directly?

As a part of EM 12c install we also need to create a repository in an existing certified database. If this certified database has DB console configured then you need to deconfigure it before starting the EM 12c install or during the install it will throw you a warning pop-up to deconfigure and then move forward. The warning message have very clear instrucstion on what to do.

              refere this as well: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E24628_01/install.121/e22624/toc.htm
