I am in the middle of upgrading to 12.1.1 and the stage where WFXLoad.class runs is kind of slow. In the note "12.1.1 UPGRADE FROM 184.108.40.206 VERY SLOW XDOLOADER TASK HANGS [ID 1065393.1]" it says "stop the upgrade".
How do I stop the adpatch process? With adctrl? If so, which option?
Can I then restart the adpatch with the same options and select to continue with the previous session?Yes.
It really made it go a lot faster. I should have done that when I was testing the upgrade too. It would have saved me a lot of time.
One note though; the link is not persistent, so I I will need to read up some Linux documents to script it for the OS startup.
Also, just for the record, it was possible to gracely stop adpatch by telling all workers to quit and then continuing with the previous session when prompted at the next run.
