On both the nodes, node1 and node2 perform:
Now (from node1) add the generated keys to the ~/.ssh/authorized_keys file
ssh-keygen –t rsa (Enter twice) ssh-keygen –t dsa (Enter twice)
Then from node1 SSH to node2 twice and add the .rsa and .dsa keys to the “authorized_keys” file that locates in the first node:
cat ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub >> ~/.ssh/authorized_keys cat ~/.ssh/id_dsa.pub >> ~/.ssh/authorized_keys
Now copy the “authorized_keys” file from node1 to node2:
ssh node2 cat ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub >> ~/.ssh/authorized_keys ssh node2 cat ~/.ssh/id_dsa.pub >> ~/.ssh/authorized_keys
This should resolve your issue. If you feel that your question has been answered, then please close the thread by providing appropriate points and marking it as answered.
scp ~/.ssh/authorized_keys node2:~/.ssh/authorized_keys

ins-40906 duplicate host name found in the node information table for oracle clusterware installI suspect that at the time of adding the cluster configuration, you might have added node1 which was already available.
At the step of Cluster configuration, node1 and node1-vip would already be available. You need to add node2 and node2-vip.
Refer this http://www.oracle-base.com/articles/11g/oracle-db-11gr2-rac-installation-on-ol5-using-vmware-server-2.php where Tim has explained with screen shots making it very simple.
The key fingerprint is:
Its seems to like that your authorized keys are not append pproperly .
Just check with more command more authorized_keys file having node 1and node 2 enteries as it is a manadatory procedure
for ex: ssh local1@vzhost1c and must be having local1@vzhost1c entry
please scp ur authorized key from node2 to node1 and then more autorized kyes must be having both the enteries.
once u done with this goto node1 execute ssh node1 and ssh node1-priv and then go to node2 ssh node2 and ssh node2-priv
From this it will not ask for the passwords.
If you have Oracle Metalink Support, There is a step by step document on Oracle 11g R2 on Solaris Platform. The document will check all the pre-requisites.
