and no one told meAs far as i remember you got a lot of hints how to do so.
i am in a bad need for your step by step helpThis forum is driven by volunteers you spend their time for helping other people. You should be so polite to invest some time on your own to get things working.
About your problem.
What happens when you enter the following url in your browser (with running OC4J)
a lot of thanks to you o.dev .
regarding you andreas ,
if you say to someone "be polite" , this means that he is not , and sure i do not accept this insultness .
about the hints i was given , it did not work , and i gave hints telling you that before .
finally , if this is the way you help people with , then you can easily do not help .
, but if you want help politely like you said , then , the result for entering :http://server:port/reports/rwservlet/showenv
in the browser when i run a form , and oc4j is running is , a message telling me this :
windows can't find http://server:port/reports/rwservlet/showenv check the speeling , and try again .
i replied like so because it is not the first time you say so .
thanks to all
Excuse me for being lazy and not searching your previous threads containing questions about configuring your reports server. As I don't know their content I don't know the links posted, the advices given and what you did, and as this is a new thread I'll go ahead and ask what you tried, where you failed and what exactly did not work out for you.
i am in a bad need for your step by step helpFine, here is an easy one:
Step 1: go to http://tahiti.oracle.com
Step 2: click on "Oracle Application Server, 10g Release 2 (10.1.2)"
Step 3: click in the searchbox, type "Configuring Reports Server"
Step 4: click "search"
Step 5: You will be redirected to some links, the very fist of them is this:http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B14099_19/bi.1012/b14048/pbr_conf.htm
This is as step-by-step as it gets, if you want detailed help ask detailed questions.
I wrote:Oh, I forgot; speaking of step-by-step: if you could post what you did step-by-step that would be really outstanding...
I'll go ahead and ask what you tried, where you failed and what exactly did not work out for you.
