ORA-1110, ORA-1114, OSD-4002, O/S-Error: (OS 32) The Process Cannot Access The File Because It Is Being Used by Another [ID 272088.1]
Hi,1 person found this helpful
You will get this error if you are trying to run the same workbook stored on the desktop using two separate Discoverer processes. The workaround is to either store the workbooks in the database or each process takes a copy of the desktop workbook before opening.
Thank You Both for your replies !!
Below are the details:
OS : Windows XP SP3
Database : Oracle 11G, ERP R12.1.3
Discoverer versions 220.127.116.11.0
Yes, I am running the same report but, the report is stored in the database only. Even , sometimes if i run the different reports also i am getting this error. I am using the below syntax in Batch Script file.
/run C:\oracle\product\11.1.1\as_1\bin\dis51usr.exe /CONNECT username/password@instance /apps_user /apps_responsibility "Responsibility Name" /OPENDB "Report Name" /SHEET "Sheet Name" /export xls "C:\Discoscheduler\test123.xls" /BATCH
/open blat -installSMTP SMTP Server EmailAddress 5 25
/open blat -s "test mail" -to Email Address -body "" -attach "C:\Discoscheduler\test123.xls"
Maybe the processes are both trying to open temporary files. Make sure the output file and temporary files are different for each process.
Instead of all the Batch files in one folder , i have copied each Batch file in different folder. I am not getting this error anymore.
